  1. Food/Beverage Push Carts at the Waterfront

Many residents and visitors are enjoying the lakefront, but there are not that many options for families to enjoy the food and view at the same time. I propose that City Designates a small sections at the waterfront green area for maybe 5-7 Food/Beverage Push carts that will operate daily/afternoons from June-October. They will offer flexibility, accessibility, price point and the best free view. I recommend push carts because they will generate less noise than food trucks, and possibly less litter problem. This way, the city will also have an opportunity to support new, small and locally licensed food/beverage businesses that are trying to grow into an actual stationed service business.

  2. Coding camps for kids, teens, and elderly

Free city-funded interactive and fun coding camps that teach kids and the elderly the most in-demand programming languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript. Kids can use their coding skills to develop apps or games, while the elderly can transfer their knowledge of coding to a new career or hobby.

  3. An alternative, flexible transportation solution for low income families.

Is it possible to have a city funded all electric shared shuttle service that offers routes to custom destinations within 5 miles radius of the city with smaller and more efficient foot print? This system will be alternative to City Buses and can have the flexibility of providing door to door service.

  4. More local art on streets

The goal of this idea is to make the city more aesthetically pleasing while also giving a stage for our many local artists. This will not only benefit residents but will inspire visitors from other areas as well.
